POWERED ENVIRONMENTS PE's founder, Flynn, is a seasoned Crestron Designer and Engineer, environmental designer, audio engineer. He has been involved with entertainment production and audio and video since 1984, with over 20 years experience, and computer systems design, configuration & programming for both commercial and non-commercial systems. "Currently working with several AV installation companies, I've been able to work on some very impressive projects. Seen at the right is the new Crestron 17" wall mounted panel I did at a gorgeous townhouse in Tribeca. I've just finished programming the new Theory headquarters in the Meat Packing district. A nice 6 floor building with the ability to listen to music sources from the main rack, or from each floor - including an iPod frm every floor."

I also think ergonomics are given far too little consideration in how many work environments are designed - especially functional spaces like a DJ booth or recording & mixing studios." Sputnik, pictured here, was designed not only as a live music & DJing venue, it is also a 5.1 surround sound theatre with DVD player and Computer hook-ups, and can record directly to Stereo CD or Firewire for multi-channel recording. All audio system design, wiring, construction, and installation was performed by Flynn.
		Flynn has been involved in virtually every aspect of entertainment production. From writing, storyboarding & camera, to performing and acting, to video editing, audio engineering and DVD authoring, through to the overall home theatre system, he has touched virtually every facet of the movie experience. This experience allows Flynn to be very empathietic with his clients. He really understands what they're looking for in a customized environment.
